January has been a busy campaign month as I work for a brighter future for Texas!
I’ve been sharing what I stand for in questionnaires, such as Ballotpedia:
Such as women’s rights…
Women who are facing a heart-achingly difficult decision in traumatic circumstances should be supported with kindness…not persecution.
More women die during pregnancy & childbirth in Texas than in many other states and will get worse.
Women in Texas and across the US deserve better, where they are
-> safe in pregnancy
-> safe to receive healthcare
-> and safe to make choices about their own lives free from the interference of politicians.
(and to hear about my inspiration from the fictional Leslie Knope with her can-do attitude!)
Leslie Knope loves murals - I do too!
I’ve also had the pleasure of joining Dem meetings in:
Several Austin events
Bastrop (2 times!)
Bryan/College Station (2 times!)
Elgin
Fort Bend
Lago Vista
Lake Travis (4 times!)
Round Rock
And it’s been such an honor to be endorsed by a diverse group of Democratic organizations:
University Democrats
Tejano Democrats Austin
Austin Environmental Democrats
Liberal Austin Democrats
NorthEast Travis County Democrats
Northwest Austin Democrats
Central Austin Democrats
Austin Young Democrats
Greater Austin National Women’s Political Caucus
Your endorsements mean the world to me.
