I began this journey to running for Congress during the winter storm of 2021.
We had been without power for days when my daughter, home from college, turned to me and said “What’s the point, the world is a mess”.
It’s easy to feel overwhelmed when faced by an unceasing world.
It’s easy to ask, “What can I even do to change things?”.
Well there are 3 things to do if you wish things to change.
You must vote.
You must volunteer. And you must donate.
Only by compellingly voting out every Republican who cares more about restricting our rights than bringing positive change to Texas can things start to turn around.
And every single dollar raised, every single hour volunteered, brings us closer to that goal.
This is not going to change, unless we change it. Together.
